04-06-2025My eclectus parrot is a reluctant forager, so these clear acrylic type toys work best for him as he can see whats inside. We move it around his cage to challenge him to use his different perches or really get a good stretch trying to get to the highest cup, otherwise it would be a bit too easy. You can throw it in the dishwasher but we dont put messy foods in it so it is easy to hand wash.

Greater than one weekMy rats all have to work together to eat now, no more running and hiding with food in their mouths. They eat slower and it’s very interactive to watch them figure out the best solutions :)

> 3 dayIt really is a nice simple concept for beginner foragers, however please be aware that the cups are not made of strong acrylic; rather they are just regular (i.e. kind of flimsy/brittle) plastic that can break just by squeezing it firmly. I would not recommend this for larger birds as they could easily shatter the cups into sharp pieces. But smaller/medium sized birds would probably be safe playing with it.

> 3 dayThis is a great little foraging toy. I have a Nanday Conure and its perfect for her. Its much larger than it looks. I put peanuts (in the shell) in the little cups and typically can easily fit at least 6 in there.
