This item arrived with scratches and scuff makes like it has already been used. I will not give someone a gift that looks like that. I will be returning.

This is different from The Transformers of our memory in that there are multiple “things” that this toy can turn into. It’s a durable and charming little toy. As each subsequent being is formed the next one requires just a little more dexterity, patience, and imagination. (“No, no. Don’t force it. If it doesn’t happen easily that means you should try something else.”) So that while this looks like plain, be-patient fun toy it also encourages developmental skills, from tactile and hand/eye to creativity and (gulp) patience. Just because 20 years ago this was a “boy” toy should not discourage you from getting this for a little girl. This is a toy that stimulates both left and right brain hemispheres and gender doesn’t factor at all. I say go for it.

We bought this for Christmas for our son and once you change it from plane to bot a few several times it gets easier. As a 2 year old even he can change it from bot to jet. It came on time, its a great quality toy, not to small but definitely bigger than originally expecting. Perfect for little hands of all ages, and has lasted longer than most store bought toys and will probably last even longer.

Birthday gift for my nephew and he loved it.

My four-year-old squealed with delight when I handed her this Super Wings toy. She loves the show (though I have no idea why), and now she has her own Super Wing to play with. Not only does she love the toy (she made a little bed for him), she can transform from plane to robot and back pretty easily. Some of the Transformer toys are pretty tough for kids to manipulate on their own. These Super Wing toys are pretty straightforward and only need adult intervention occasionally. Im also pretty impressed with how sturdy they are. My kids havent broken it yet, and theyve been playing with it for a couple of weeks. If your kid tends to break toys, then this one is definitely breakable, but I think it should hold up under normal wear and tear for a while.

The kids love these (ages 2 & 4). But they’re pretty difficult to transform...we struggle doing it as adults sometimes. You have to be very forceful. Not a huge deal though - our kids just bring them to us if they want the figures to change form. I love that the arms pop on and off too - makes them extra durable because I feel like they would just snap off/break anyways.
