I love that this tower has five USB ports! I can recharge my headset, phone and pc mouse overnight plus more, not to mention all the electrical plugs and everything is surge protected!

We love them. We have several in our home. We like that we can unplug what ever item we are using when we are done with them. No more leaving everything plugged in.

Item came boxed well and safely. I have done the daisy-chain with outlet extensions. This little item, JACKYLED 40W/8A 6USB Surge protector is much nicer than daisy-chains. Provides a convenient locale for all the electronic devices I use. I also use one for my video shooting, as, I can connect several devices from cameras, to external recorders, etc. Not run and gun, but handy on set.

power strip has done a good job. No specific cons. It is pricey and 100% plastic. Design layout is good.

We have a big entertainment system so we did not want to move things once we have it set. We were looking for something that could sit right behind the TV and was out of sight. This is the perfect thing for that. All the wires can go right behind the TV so they are hidden as well as ease of use to actually reach it. All I need to do is slide one side of the tv a little and i can unplug or plug anything into this easily. Keep in mind if you have a fast charging cord for your smartphone this will not Pros: 1. You can turn off each tier when not using the plugs. This is done by turning off the main switch on each tier. 2. Doesnt matter which direction the power cord is coming from as there will be a plug pointing in that general area. 3. Different shape so can put this where other surge protectors usually dont. 4. USB slots Cons: 1. Shape is different so if you are used to the long surge protectors it may not fit in the same spaces those fit in. Overall i think this is a great surge protector. You can charge your phones and keep all your other electronics on. Id suggest leaving this behind something or on a corner of a desk so that its not sticking out too much.

Is very sturdy and visibility is very good and I think it worth what I pay for it.

Perfect and space saving. I have it on my desktop which gives me convenient access for adding and removing items. Will soon be ordering another. I am very pleased with this purchase. If you are on the fence dont give it a second to delay. You wont be sorry.

    Greater than one week

This was purchased to replace a regular, old power strip. This fit in the space and could run multiple appliances better than the power strip could. One of the biggest selling points for me was the USB charging station that was incorporated into the power strip, and unfortunately thats the only thing that didnt work exactly as planned. Although it does support high speed charging for our phones, it cant charge my tablet (Samsung Tab A) at high speed unless we plug in a separate adapter into one of the outlets. Thats technically a workaround, however it defeats the purpose of having built in USB charging ports. The customer service responds quickly and they did everything in their power to get this to work as I expected. Apparently, certain tablets and devices dont recognize the USB charging station and only receive .5 Amps for charging, which is only as much as a device receives when plugged into a computer. Even though it doesnt work exactly as I hoped, Im still satisfied with the look and functionality of this vertical charging station. Assuming this vertical tower doesnt have any additional problems over the couple of years, I would definitely buy from this company again.

Its only been a week since setting up my entertainment center with this surge protector but so far so good. I like that its vertical rather than your traditional flat. I propped it up on stool for ease of getting to if I should need to. It was easy to set up. Aside from plugging in all of my electronics to it (TV, DVR, Blu-Ray, etc.) I labeled each of the power cords just to keep organized and neat back there. This is separate from this power strip of course. I have yet to try out the smart usb outlets for power or charging devices. The only thing I wish more of were outlets. This one had 12, which is good enough for the average user but since I have so many things that need powering on and around my entertainment center Ive already used up all 12 outlets and have a few things that had to be plugged in separately to an extension cord (giving me 3 more outlets, unprotected). But I knew this upon deciding to make the purchase and it seems most, if not all, surge protectors max out at 12. So, overall, I like it. Im hoping it will keep all of my important & expensive electronics protected for many years to come. So far so good though. I give it a 5-star rating.

The building I live in is very particular about the power adapters we use . At first Maintenance said it was not compliant. I told him the cost and added it better be ! He came back that afternoon with an A O.K from his boss. Works Great ! Wish it had a longer cord. Thanks .
