After accidentally touching my previous wire on the back of the receiver and getting a massive boom from the sub I opted to buy this. No feedback with sloppy cord handling, perfect sound, very thick and well shielded wire.

cant say i notice a difference from my old cable but i wanted to step up my RCA game with my new amps. for the price i think its a pretty good buy to not get too deep into snake oil of cables.

I reluctantly paid the elevated price for this SVS cable (compared to the price of other composite cables) as I was trying to chase down a sound gremlin. I have an SVS SB16 Ultra that I have been using for home theater. Its great. I had what I thought was a quality, if generic, cable connected to the LFE output on the AVR. Recently, I have returned to listening to vinyl after a 30 year absence. I bought a high end turntable, preamp, and Stylus. It sounds great. But when I got the all analog signal up to a certain volume, I started getting like a bass feedback. The subwoofer would oscillate rapidly, sounded something like a motorboat. I lived with it for a few days doing research, but occasionally I felt hampered not being able to turn my records up loud. After the research, and deciding it probably wasnt a ground, but interference, I started with the simplest thing - the cable. It arrived today, I quickly swapped it in, put on some 70s rock, and cranked it. The bass wobble is gone. Good clean solid bass out of that massive sub. I only had this issue with the turntable. Never was an issue on digital sources. Anyway, well worth the extra money to me. I should have purchased this cable when I got the sub (or better yet, SVS should include it with the price of that sub).

Right out of the package you can just feel the quality and craftsmanship. This cable replaced an older Monster subwoofer cable and could hear the difference off the bat. Great investment in any home theater system, highly recommend.
