> 3 dayI keep this in my make up bag. When I’m traveling and I have an ear infection this works really well. It also works well at home but it’s just a easy way to store it. Just put a little bit inside the infected ear. This may work well if you have someone else applying it into the infected ear as you lay your head down on a pillow or something.

> 3 dayI was having an aggravating ear problem. It was not infected, and I needed no prescription meds, according to my dr. She suggested sweet oil, and it brought back memories from my youth. My mom used this on all of her children. I couldn’t find it in our local store and decided to order from Amazon. The pressure I was feeling left completely after day one. It was such a relief! Tried and true remedies are sometimes the best.

> 3 dayThe nearest ENT is a city away and booked for two months out. Meanwhile, the eczema in my ear canals (a new development) was itching and flaking and sore. I also had build-up of wax and debris (gross, I know) that muffled my hearing and caused pain. The cortisone & antibiotic drops my GP prescribed seemed to make the eczema worse, and did nothing to help with wax removal. I could not find sweet oil at any store, so ordered it here. (A pharmacist later told me I could just have used my kitchen olive oil, but I am happier with a small dedicated bottle and dropper, anyway). I swab a bit inside my ear, in the outer ear canal and allow it to gently drip down (head tilted). I was apprehensive about putting much of anything at all in there to add to the pressure. The oil sooths the ear canal and seems to limit the eczema itching and flaking. (So relieved!) Additionally, I found that it did soften the wax deep inside my canal and made it possible to (VERY carefully) remove with a Clinere ear spoon. I am considering cancelling my appointment with the ENT, still 2 weeks away. Ill see how it goes, but so far, the sweet oil is helping more than anything Ive tried. I can hear!
