We used one of these anchors to hang a hammock swing from the ceiling in a bedroom, and it holds about 200 lbs with no issue. It was also very easy to install and swivels without noticeable noise.

So far working great my granddaughter is giving it a good workout

This item is well built, and the hardware makes you feel safe to allow the kids to use it as they please. I have a 5 year old son, a 3 year old daughter who enjoy it differently and then theres my 5 month old son that loves to fall asleep in it. Mommy and Daddy free up there arms to do other things around the house since the swing goes for minutes before stopping and needing an extra push. Love it!

Works great for my hammock swing!

1200 lb Capacity, maybe. But an 80lb child with a cloth swing has caused dramatic and visible wear to the bolt/pin in a matter of 3 weeks. I guess ill be replacing these every 6 months, or building something myself.

Great brackets for hanging up my hammock on my porch. Brackets are easy to install and I feel safe and secure in my hammock with these brackets. Would be great for other swings and chairs as well.

I bought two sets of these to hang front porch swings. Start to finish the install for each set took at most 30 minutes. Highly recommend these...at least for hanging a porch swing.
