SwissGear Backpack / Bookbag ScanSmart Laptop Notebook Backpack, Fits Most 17 Laptop Computers

I bought this to Carry all my Stuff since I run a Business, sometimes I carry Checkbook (Large) sometimes Laptops, tablets, water bottles, Keys, chargers... then I went to visit my Sister, used it for some clothes, some Babys Toys, even some grill utensils has a lot of storage options inside. Im still getting used to what goes where...

Although I have not put it to the test yet, it looks as though it will perform perfectly well for my needs. My husband has one and loves it.

Pros - Well appointed, and constructed for use both daily or for travel. No cheap or cheesy hardware or zippers used. Shoulder straps, and back area are padded for comfort. Easy access, and good protection for Your personal Electronics. Generous storage area dedicated for Your fullsize Laptop, Pad, or other. Includes a dedicated series of pockets in the same area for storage of chargers, and cords. Bonus is the built-in (replaceable) patch cord with USB connectors on both ends. You can connect to a stored battery pack (not included), which exits at the left shoulder strap to keep Your Electronics charged. Cons - Once packed with Your Electronics and necessities it can be on the heavy side as described by other product reviewers. But I carry only on one shoulder, and should use both shoulder straps. The back could have just a little more padding for cushion if You have this fully packed for a travel event. This backpack is superior to most in that arena. In all, this would be a solid purchase at a fair price.

I just bought this backpack at a retail store and Im actually shocked. I have been looking for a new backpack that is light, comfortable, and would fit all of the garbage that I have to carry back and forth to and from work, for years. I had a backpack that I loved and had for a looooooooong time and nothing else that I bought could rise to the task of fitting everything without being TOO big. This bag is perfect. It fits my work laptop, all of my cables, a travel happy light, my files, my personal things like medications and eyeglass cleaners and miscellaneous other stuff, my pens, post-it note pads, tablet, snacks, a water bottle, travel coffee mug, glasses, perfume, lip stuff, cuticle oil, my travel e-file... everything is in this bag and theres still room for more without being big and bulky or even heavy. I had about half of my stuff into this bag and everything taken out of the other bag and I was struck by how light this bag still felt (compared to the empty old bag) and how comfortable it is to carry. The old bag can be relegated to a hunting bag now because it has been replaced.

always wanted one, I bought this one because the price was right, I will let you know in a year how well it holds up.

We gave this to my father-in-law who spends a lot time in airports, and on a boat. Great size to hold of his essentials. We also have a bigger version- and it has held up extremely well even with a LOT of use!

Its exactly what Ive been looking for my travels. I needed a backpack but for clothing , toiletries and my camera and accessories. This opens like a suitcase! Has just the right amount of pockets, is not intended for heavy books and a huge laptop. Theres a lot of those type out there, but only one like this! It fits perfectly on my rollercase handle and under the airplane seat! I tried does appear to be made with inferior materials. Ill have to wait to see if it holds up. Other than that, its amazing. So pleased

I love my red SwissGear backpack. It is the most versatile pack I have owned. It is lightweight and sleek with the zippers on the inseam. It works great for a backpack for a day trip, weekend trip, or carryon for longer travel. compartments are versatile for several outfits, a laptop, travel documents, wallet, a separate lined compartment to quickly access sun shades, can be turned horizontal to fit over the handle of a pull along luggage piece. Ive traveled with it several times now and love it.
