Found first screw a regular screw about same thickness makes it much easier to start the eye hook - then slide a pen through and use that to turn the hook

I took a gamble with these hoping the reviews were right. But these are flimsy and hardly hold their grip. Theyre too short to get past the paint and plaster to make it to the studs and Im just glad I didnt hang anything with any noticeable weight from them lest they damage my apartments walls. Im sure they work if youre trying to hang a paper decoration or maybe a small decorative flag. But I wouldnt recommend them at all

Only used 2 of them, but will never have to hunt around the next time I need one! They come in a nice little clear box so its easy to find what youre looking for.

Dont expect to hold anything too heavy, but light items should be fine. So far I have used them to hang a LED shop light from Harbor Freight and it worked great and is holding up well in a drywall ceiling. I used drywall screws with the plastic bit you put in first and then screw into that.

These were very nice, heavy duty and assorted sizes for any of our household projects.

A better investment than I even intended! I have used all sizes of these for soooo many little ideas around the house. They work great for back drops and for holding props and other household projects. Very handy to have around.
