Great replacement screen for my iPad 7

So the adhesive is kind of weak. This is my second time replacing my digitizer. Its sort of finicky and you need to fold the cables properly or itll lift. Thankfully I have a case that will hold it down, but I still dont like knowing that it will lift. Ive watched plenty of videos and still cant really figure it out. But seeing how cheap these have gotten I think its worth it.

Easy installation just horrible tools very cheap and break easily.

NOTE; The photo was taken prior to removal of inside and outside glass protectors. Before screen was finally secured. This particular model has the home button so you do not need to worry about cutting any connections that may be needed later. Nonetheless, it is always a good idea to go online to view how to remove the cracked screen for your specific model to make sure you do not cut a ribbon that needs in case it needs to be used. Easy connections on the A2200 model and minimal removal. LED and one cover, 7 screws total will be removed. I like the idea of taking an hour or two to repair the screen. It is easy so do not be intimidated. you do need to be careful when removing the glass as it is sharp and the tiny pieces do get everywhere. I used clear tape over the glass to minimize the amount of glass dropped. Better than buying a new device or going to the mall and spending $150 to replace the glass.

Received 2 defective screens then ordered a different brand with no problems. First screen arrived with disconnected wires. Second screen installed had defective screen with dead spots, fingerprint didn’t work and stripping on the display. Stay away and buy another brand.

Ive replaced several of these screens so can do it fairly quickly. What Ive noticed is the quality of the glass is likely thinner than the OEM which means itll break again fairly quickly. This is probably why Ive replaced several. Yes my 6 yr old is not gentle with it, but no different than the original device that lasted years where as these last couple months. May be fine if youre not replacing a kids tablet. Buttons and general functionality seems fine otherwise.

Tried 2, home button on one didn’t work and the screen on the second didn’t work. Returning for refund. Not worth the time.

The home bottom it doesnt hold, very loose and adhesive not holding, as of me I wont buy it again, this is my experience with this screen dont know about others.
