The flex circuits were not properly aligned and had to be readjusted to make the connections.

The kit worked great, but the screen broke for no obvious reason within 2 days.

Screen works perfectly!! Originally thought otherwise, but ordered other parts and found the issue. Hhh, seriously you fix one problem and 3 others pop up. This screen is perfect and can play games and do everything to normal abilities. Tips for DIY repairs: Get clear packing tape and tape the old screen so you dont have glass flying everywhere and dont get cut. This screen came with great tools to help with the repair. I will say get a pair of long handle tweezers, that are strong. Those cheap ones are to weak and dont hold anything. Tweezers, with a curve hook will help when ya need to grab little parts. The battery is glued in with tape, ya gotta find the ends and pull. Keep pulling until it snaps out and you have a long string of tape. There should be two or three cant remember. When you disconnect the connections, please for the love of god. BE CAREFUL!! they are freaking fragile and you dont want to have to buy more parts. I actually broke a connection plate on a different tablet and now either have to find a new board or learn to solder. Ohh the fun. Remember where your screws came from and what holes. Get tape or a container and stick them their. We lost 3 and could not find replacements, had to use old tablet for parts. The tablet will not work properly if all screws arent in correctly and fit properly. Plz, I had to buy a new charging port and this became a problem. Check if you need a new charging port. Found one for $13 and it works great. My kid is horrible on cords and I should have just went with it in the first place. It was the problem in the end, after fixing the screen, we had no sound and it wouldnt charge. If you can wiggle your cord in the port, but not the metal in the cord. Sorry dude, you need a new one. Ill see about adding pictures if I can. Also, if you broke the screen once, you will do it again. Buy a heavy duty case and screen protector. Heck, I bought a wall mount. My kids ticked, but I have trust issues at this point. 10th tablet broken, good thing I like to fix things.

It absolutely did not fit my wifes samsung galaxy Tab A which is a T290 model so i am very unsatified and stuck with a product that does what for me
