My son loves playing on this mat! He is 6.5 months old, and part of the fun is tearing off the edges on the mat. It keeps him preoccupied for a long time! It’s not very soft, meaning he would still hurt himself if he was sitting up and fell backwards. But it does give some protection compared to the hardwood floor. And if you have carpet underneath you’ll have even more cushioning.

Product came as described. They did come with the edge pieces but I left them off due to the size of our play pen. The dinosaur pieces would be a little difficult to take out without having nails but go back in easily. They also fit perfectly so there are no ridges or pieces sticking up, the mats are completely flat. In my opinion they could be a little softer but my baby doesnt seem to mind crawling around on them. Theyre definitely better than the hard floor.

This mat is bright and colorful and matches my sons dinosaur nursery. As others have mentioned, the exact number of colored tiles does not match the picture here. We received four blue tiles, four orange tiles, two green, two blue, two brown. I was prepared for this thanks to the previous reviews and I was able to find a color combination that looked good! (The key was making an X out of the four blue and four orange tiles, then filling in the gaps with alternating sets of two). Overall I really like this mat, and it is certainly great for the price! Its fun that you can mix and match the similar dinosaur shapes and take them out to play with them. It is also a pretty good looking mat. We also have already gotten compliments on it from friends at play dates.

Yes, little ones will try to chew on these and that will introduce toxins into their system. BUT, theyre incredibly cute (colors are truly as bright as pictured and dinos are cuter than the standard letter set), provide a great texture for the floor (soft enough to prevent head injuries and knee pain but firm enough to allow for tower building and whatnot), and arent that much of a pain to replace when pulled up (much better than the construction version by the same brand because each dino is a single piece). One other negative: the set looks much bigger online; we had to buy six sets to cover the corner of our living room we wanted to designate a play area.

I love this mat, I really do. Its soft and serves its purpose well, I love the colors and the dinosaurs. I just have one complaint, but it really bothers me that theres no way to set it up with out two of the same dinosaur touching at least once. Its a little thing, but I would have preferred it to be more of a pattern so that didnt happen.

I bought this mat for my grandson to crawl/play on, after seeing a friends Alphabet mat. The alphas are large letters in the middle of the square pieces. The dinos are a little smaller and have legs & tails that Im sure will be severed by a crawling grandson as soon as he gets them out of the puzzle type mat. The dino shapes come out like a puzzle! Very cute idea, but not sure how good its going to work for little ones crawling on it. Well see, my grandson it only 6 weeks old, so I have a little while before hes able to get the pieces out! Its a very cute may & larger than I thought. The pieces are just under a foot square without the edges.

We ordered this mat for our 6 month old and we all like it a lot. The colors are nice and the dinosaur shapes are fun, and most importantly, it provides a cushy place to play. He likes the chew on the edge pieces, and has recently developed the dexterity to take them off himself, so I dont know how long it will hold up (weve had it for about 2 months now) but its a great product for the price.

Super easy to assemble. Was exactly what we were looking for as a cushion for our sons play area.

We love this mat for our daughter. Its cute and was easy to put together. The quality is good though I wish it was a bit thicker. It did get some puncture marks from our dogs walking on it but thats no big deal. Good for the price.

I love the mat and it was really easy to assemble... the only thing that I didn’t like was that it wasn’t the same color as the picture described... Other than I love it. My 6 month old baby has lots of fun with it... It’s easy to clean and water proof.
