> 3 dayOsprey is one of my favorite outdoor brands. I have owned several of their backpacks over the years and they have never failed me. I typically dont buy anything else. The Osprey Talon 22 is a medium sized daypack that is perfect for slightly longer day hikes given its capacity.

Greater than one weekI was looking for a new backpack to use for our themepark visits since my previous Columbia pack had finally done itself in. I have heard great things about Osprey, so I decided I wanted to give them a try. This pack was the perfect size to hold my rain gear, water, snacks, and my wifes makup bag. Once adjusted properly, it is a very comfortable pack. For the firt hour of wearing it, it felt lopsided, so I had to mess around with it for a bit to get it nice and square on my back. Once I did though, I was very impressed with the feel and the way everything was distributed through the frame of the pack to my hips. The only reason for knocking a star, is I wish there was at least 1 more small/med pocket on the bag. It has one small pocket on top, the main compartment (with a mesh bag inside), and the stash pocket in front. It would be nice to separate the smaller makeup and snacks from the larger compartment, otherwise they make their way to the bottom of the bag and we have to dig around to get to it.

> 3 dayI have gone through a number of back packs over the years and this is the latest. I havent given it a good trial yet, but will soon be using it as weather allows. The area to get a bladder in is very narrow and difficult to use. Also as in one of my shared pics, Im not sure how the bladder strap is supposed to work.

> 3 dayIve never owned a daypack that compares to this one. Im tall-ish and broad-shouldered, so the many customizable adjustments this pack offers already put it far above other daypacks Ive owned.

> 3 dayNot as comfortable as most of the reviews. Very cumbersome, drink bottles are hard to get in and out, unless your an octopus. Straps are irritating to use. Runs small. Trekking poles holder sucks and was broken. Not a good bag for a long day hike. Flatlanders will probably like it. I returned it for REIs traverse 32 and couldnt be happier. Same money, more room, easier to use. So many more options, much more comfortable and supportive, lighter, holds alot more gear sensibly, and well balanced. Drinks are a breeze to get in and out on the fly. Perfect backpack for scaling New Hampshires white mountains.

> 3 dayThis backpack is the perfect size for day hikes. Between bottles and water bladders I was able to fit 5 liters in this bag. It’s not too big and not too small.
