If your into lathering up with a brush this is the best shaving soap Ive ever used. I first bought this at the Taylor store in London while there on vacation and loved it... Rich lather and smells awesome. I was so glad to find it sold on Amazon and 3 of my friends now buy it regularly also!

As the title say the sandals wood scent is great and refreshing in this product. Unfortunately it seems to irritate my sensitive skin under my chin. Ability to lather quickly and help the blade glide over the skin are good to very good. There are a few that are better in all of these areas. Price is very good.

This brand of shave cream is one of the top of the line as far as I am concerned. It whips up fast and keeps building up as long as you keep swirling it with a brush on your face. I love the smell and the fact that it holds a nice thick lather . Thanks for a great product.

I know TOBS Sandalwood is by far their franchise product. And I like the scent. But I like several others more, especially Grapefruit and Royal Forest (Creed Aventus). But if you’re looking for TOBS’ flagship product, this is it right here, the Royal Warrant winnner. Performance of TOBS shaving cream is absolutely top notch like all creams made with this base including Geo F Trumper, D.R. Harris, Truefitt & Hill, and The Body Shop. The trick to lathering all of these shaving creams is to use just a tiny bit and scrub your face with your brush adding a few drops of water at a time until your lather is thin enough to easily rinse your razor but thick enough to give you maximum slickness, cushion and glide. I always start on the creamy side and if the razor is hard to rinse I put a few more drops of water in the brush and work it through the lather to slick it up. Up to a point, more water means more slickness. TOBS creams come in many scents covering every range of scent preference. If Sandalwood isn’t your vibe there are cologne-y, citrusy, minty, floral, musky, woodsy, aquatic, soapy and spicy scents too. There will probably be several you enjoy. TOBS is as cheap per shave as the aerosol can of goo in the 3-pack at Costco, but smells divine and shaves so much better. Make sure to get a decent shaving brush.

Too heavily scented, and it leaves quite a bit of soap scum in the sink after shaving. I actually threw it away after the second time I tried to use this cream. Smelled like 1970s stereotypical player It did however lubricate very well for my shave.
