I am sold on Kagan strategies and I was hoping this tool would help make group creation easier, but it has not. The program seems outdated and is not very user friendly. It has an option to save your groups, but it does not allow you to save groups throughout the year. For example, if I change groups every 6 weeks or so, or even every quarter, by second semester the program will not remember the groups the students were previously in and may put students in the exact same groups. You would think it could be organized by class and the program would automatically put students in different groups each time, but that is not the case .If it had a better memory I would have rated this program higher. Next year I may just use the notecard strategy suggested in the Kagan book.
