Amazing speed and capacity for the price! Super quick reads and writes for such a cheap NVME M.2 SSD drive. Using them to run two PCs with the operating systems installed on these SSDs. Absolutely no issues with PC usage or even gaming or read/write heavy workloads. Seriously! A little over half a gigabyte for such high speeds for about the same price for nearly the same size SATA SSD!

Really fast SSD, installed it into my computer via the m.2 slot and it worked well. This is one of the best values for 2tb of storage that will last a while.

I was excited to add 4TB to my rig. My MoBo has 4 M.2 ports. If this worked out, I would add others. Unfortunately the stick was DOA. It was delivered in an unopened package, so it wasnt tampered. I loaded it in my first port, controlled by the CPU. In my case it is a 12th Gen i9. No Joy. It was not recognized by the BIOS nor Windows 11 PRO. Next I loaded it into each of my remaining 3 slots controlled by the CHIP SET, Z690. Again, No Joy. I contacted Amazon and will be returning it. I also reached out to TEAMGROUP regarding compatibility with my MoBo, figuring perhaps it was not compatible, GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS Ultra. I have not heard back from them yet. I would also want to verify that it now uses RTS5763DL controller and not Phison PS5013-E13 **UPDATE** I heard back from TEAMGROUP regarding compatibility with my MoBo, they responded Upon checking GIGABYTE online resources, the GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS Ultra motherboard can support TEAMGROUP MP34 M.2 PCIe SSD. We suggest contacting GIGABYTE customer service for further assistance in checking the maximum storage requirement confirmation. I then asked about the Controller and DRAM chips on the drive, they responded TEAMGROUP’s SSDs will have different DRAM configurations and sizes, and will not have fixed certain solutions (brand or configuration, or ranks). Please be assured that TEAMGROUP’s SSDs are safe to use and covered under a limited warranty. In addition, the TEAMGROUP MP34 M.2 PCIe SSD has a DRAM Cache. This answers another reviewers statement that they do not. Finally I asked about the controller being shipped, they responded We understand the importance of customer reviews and the impact they can have on the buying decision. Our company takes product quality and customer satisfaction seriously, and we appreciate your concerns regarding the controller and NAND chips used in our products. While we are unable to disclose specific information about the current shipping controller, we can assure you that our products go through rigorous testing and quality assurance measures to ensure that they meet industry standards and provide reliable performance. We understand that transparency is important to our customers, and we strive to provide as much information as possible about our products. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we continue to improve our products and services. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns. Thank you for your interest in our product. Best regards, Jasper TEAMGROUP This last answer raises a lot of red flags in my opinion. I, like many of us, count on 3rd party reviews that test products using standardized tests as well as customer reviews. The fact that they change important components such as controllers from what is being reviewed looks suspicious to me. The appearance is that they put a quality controller on the M.2 for the early reviews, then switch it out with a cheaper level controller to meet a price point. While I can not confirm this, TEAMGROUP will not disclose what is being used or why they changed. I returned my DOA 4TB drive and purchased 2- 2TB G4 Drives from Western Digital that cost roughly $100.00 more. To be Fair, I have 64GB RAM From TEAMGROUP, TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan DDR5 32GB, in my build and am very happy with them. Had the M.2 drive worked, I would have kept it.

WARNING: The 2tb version of the MP44L is NOT Phison E21T with Micron 176 layer TLC like I had hoped when I bought it based on reviews. Instead of uses a Maxio MAP1602A with YMTC 128 layer TLC NAND. These both are from state sponsored Chinese national entities for their interests. Normally this would be fine as the MAP1602A is unusually high performance controller that seemingly stacks higher than its peers as no 2tb model seems available for the e21t, smi, innogrit 5220, etc until smi comes out with next mid range soon. The issue is one of the reasons I bought this is to use hardware encryption that was a feature of the e21t sometime down the road. Now I have no way of knowing if it was rendered intentionally useless or otherwise compromised. Second reason is YMTC is still currently embargoed by the United States. I hope this review is used for people who care about transparency.

I put these in the OWC 4M2 Thunderbolt box. I got 4x 4TB. I ultimately am using them in Raid5 (the lower number), but for kicks I ran a test as Raid0. Looks good enough to me. With them being used in raid configuration, I was more concerned about price and TBW, and I believe these 4tb sport 2400TBW. At any rate, its not like I have the money for an 8k or 12k cinema camera, so I think Im good.

I was skeptical about this because Ive always stuck to the well-known brands but this was very highly recommended when I did my research so I decided to put it in my Asus gaming build and it seems to be working well so far!

Works really well for general purpose computing. Dont know for gaming. Great price. Dont know about longevity, just got it, but other reviews on many websites rate it really well for that. Time will tell but hard to beat that price.
