Tried to install this into a Dell G7 laptop as the second NVMe to replace a WD SN550 2TB that was there and working fine, I just wanted more storage. Unfortunately the Dell would not run with it in it, and I suspect that the larger power draw over the WD was the problem. I ended up using it in an ASUS Z390 desktop PC without problems. Its very quick with an economic price and it does a great job (so far) but also tends to run hot. Im not gaming and I can only imagine that the temps for that would be a challenge. Once I had installed a Silverstone heatsink the temps were around 50C which I can live with. Happy with the outcome.

I am using this drive with a Sabrent 10Gbps enclosure as a super flash drive. This drive is so slow, I rarely can saturate the 10Gbps interface. It is fine for the application but I wouldnt use it as a boot drive in a PC. Night and day better than any flash drive but it would be a seriously gnarly downgrade as a C drive. Well see how it holds up. This review could get worse. I dont see it getting better.

The Team MP33 has better endurance TBW ratings than most of the DRAM-less competition along with a 5 year warranty. In most applications the read speed of this SSD will perform similarly to even a flagship gen 4 NVMe SSDs that are often 3+ times more expensive. This SSD uses quality name brand 3D TLC flash and a well regarded controller. That puts it WAY above all the no-name Chinese junk and SSDs using low endurance slow QLC flash. If you want a super fast NVMe SSD with DRAM go for a high end expensive Samsung. If youre more interested in read speeds and saving money go for a Teamgroup MP33 SSD. I have 5 of these drives, in various sizes, installed in various systems and Ive yet to have a single problem with any of them. Thats in stark contrast to no-name Chinese SSDs which Ive had multiple problems with. This is the best of both worlds.

Its amazing how much value this drive delivers. 2TB with DRAM and TLC for 80 bucks!?! Shut the front door with the Gen4 talk. Using it for the system drive in a new build with Win11 Pro installed on it. It is Gen3 but in day to day use youd be hard pressed to tell the difference from Gen4. Flawless victory.

I bought a refurb HP G2 800 mini desktop here on Amazon, dirt cheap really. It came with a really crappy 2.5 SATA SSD but it functions well, longevity will be another story. While looking under the drive cage I noticed an empty M.2 slot...woot! Off to Amazon I go. I have many Teamgroup 2.5 SATA SSDs in other computers and theyve been very reliable, so I decided to check out their MVMe offerings. The MP33 512 GB seemed to be the best choice in terms of price/performance in this slightly older refub mini desktop. Installation was a breeze. I partitioned it into equal halves and performed a clean install of Win 10 22H2 and Linux Mint 21.1 (dual boot). I nuked the crappy 2.5 SATA SSD and formatted it for storage only. The Teamgroup M.2 stays very cool at idle, but I did buy a slim copper cooling plate during times of heavy usage. Great speeds from this SSD on an i5 processor.

Using this as an external USB-C enclosure on my Mac Mini. Works great. Dont get hung up on speed tests, DRAM, etc. For daily use this drive is more than fast enough. If there is any slow down transferring large amounts of data I certainly have not noticed. Doesnt get hot. Warm at times but never hot.

I used the SSD drives on my NAS as cache. The speed is acceptable.

Performed at nearly 4000MB/s read and over 3000MB/s writes. Cant be happier for $35.
