i love the look of this ram. and the performance great.

Advertised as xmp2, Alienware R11 identified it as xmp1 and would not integrate with the Dell memory settings

Rgb is great, I had a small problem with getting the pc to work when I installed these. It would just black screen and never try to POST or boot then once i only had one in it worked and then after the first boot I put in both, it turns out it’s not 3200mhz it’s actually 2400mhz but oh well now

The memory itself works great. Enabling XMP in BIOS has it running at 3600MHz. The RGB however, is a minor issue which cost it a star. When the computer goes into sleep mode everything shuts down from the fans to the RGB lighting on the motherboard, fans, and water pump. Everything except the memory which stays lit. It dies makes a good nightlight.

Every time I boot up my pc it will run for maybe 5 minutes or less before i get met with a blue screen. I had plugged in my old ram I had replaced for these and my pc works fine so either one or both of the sticks are bad but more likely one if my pc can still post and work. Just wish I had gotten 2 working ones since i did spend $121 on these and was excited for my new ram sticks.

Pros

For the same price, you can get another brand without any rgb, or for 20 to 40 buck more you can get some similar to these. they look good, they work well. You can controll them with asus software, or you can use the g.skill software to change the patterns if you want to.

RGB is nice works as expected no issues.

Decent ram. Speed is good and the rgb is a nice addition.
