19-11-2024This is a great compact umbrella that has worked nice for travel. The push button works for both opening and closing the umbrella. It collapses to ~12 in length and is easily small enough to put in a backpack. Appears that it should hold up well as it is sturdy.

> 3 dayI am out walking quite a bit and wanted an umbrella to keep the rain and sun off me. I also wanted it to be small so I could stash it easily. In addition to closing small, I wanted an umbrella that did not feel cheap and that had a good size when open. This umbrella more than does all I wanted. It feels substantial in my hands. When I push the open button, it pops open with a thwack! Once opened it is easily large enough to cover me and my backpack as well as me and another person close together! In addition to being large when open, it is strong and not wobbly. The material of the umbrella feels substantial. I have used it mostly during the winter rains, but also on the sunny days between. There have been some rainy and windy days as well and I am very glad I had this umbrella! It replaced a 99-cent special that kept inverting in the wind and broke! The umbrella kept me covered and dry in the rain and was strong enough not to invert. The open/close button does collapses the umbrella and brings it close to closed. I shake excess water off before putting wrapping the snap and it away in the cover. The carry/cover is made of a strong material that is water resistant from the inside. The non-slip handle is sturdy. The wrist strap is made of an elastic band. I would recommend based on my using it so far.

> 3 dayNot wind proof. First time to use it & wind turned it wrong side out! It’s good to know that the seller makes an effort to read reviews and stands behind their products. I will not hesitate to order from them again.

> 3 dayI got this for my mom, she said it was sturdy and easy to use. She said Its got a really nice handle with a button that gave it extra length. She said it does very well in heavy rain. Highly recommended.

22-11-2024I had an experience with a Totes brand umbrella when walking from the parking lot to the hospital where I work. It was windy and I tried sharing my umbrella with another. It was a total failure. The umbrella was too small for two people and turned inside out just like those funny videos on the internet. This umbrella is bigger and sturdier. I like that it opens with a push of a button. Then, even cooler, it closes with a push of the same button. You still have to push the rod down but that is it. The strap keeps it all bundled tight and you can slide it back into the storage sleeve but you have to work at it. The handle has a comfortable elastic strap to carry it or hang it up in the closet. Overall, I am looking forward to our next rain.

> 3 dayit’s just okay, NOT wind proof, unless your “wind” is a light breeze. bought for downtown manhattan rains and winters and it can’t even handle brooklyn’s let alone that whipping wind. a let down for sure.
