21-11-2024I watched a video on how to use Terial Mist to stabilize fabric for quilting bias fabrics. It works as intended. It has a strong scent. I have asthma, so needed to use this product in a well ventilated space (bathroom with fan on), plus wear a N95 mask.

> 3 dayI have not had a lot of chances to use this, so will tell you how I have used it so far. I put it on thinner dish towels of 100% cotton material as directions (in the area of the towel I was to machine embroider), ironed with a dry iron, and the dish towels came out super stiff. I embroidered a couple dish towels and the product worked wonderful. I have yet to try it on any other products.

> 3 dayThis worked amazingly well. I wanted to cut quilt appliques with my Silhouette Electronic cutter and not use fusible web. I cut heavy flannel and it worked perfect the first time. I wish I would have worn gloves when I squished the fabric together because it was a bit sticky on my hands but easily washes off. I will probably put a cloth over my ironing board cover when Im ironing it dry the next time. Super happy with this product.

> 3 dayI use this product on fabric for Quilting. I like it especially for Fabrics that are going to have a bias edge such as triangles. It prevents the fabric from stretching or distorting. I spray it on the fabric, let it set for a few seconds and then iron with a dry iron, no steam. Steam releases the hold of the product. The spray tends to go everywhere but it is easy to clean up with water. Once the project is completed the product washes out in a cold water machine wash.

Sew Equity
> 3 dayI love this stuff. I havent used it exactly as directed yet, but what I have used it for has yielded amazing results. Ive used it mostly to stiffen the edge of fabric before finishing it with my rolled hem foot & sewing machine. I spray the fabric lightly with the Terial Magic (directly out of the bottle) & then press it. Ill repeat this one or two times until the desired stiffness is achieved, then sew it using the foot. Ive always had a love/hate relationship with that particular presser foot. Terial Magic has fixed all of that and now using that foot, even on a chiffon, so much simpler. My serger has always been my preferred method of doing rolled hems. I think thus product may have just changed that.
