Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE Color Graphing Calculator, Black 7.5 Inch

I ordered the Iris purple one for my daughter - and there was no slide cover included in the package as other reviews have shown

My daughter is in honors math and uses this calculator. Although very expensive, it was worth the purchase and I foresee her being able to use it for a few years.

Bought it for my son for school and he’s no problem using it!! easy to use!!!

This was an upgraded version than Walmart carried but for less money. I’m glad I went with this one. The graphs are easier to read on this version if graphing multiple lines. Some of the input functions are more user friendly than the other version as well.

It looks exactly like the pictures. It is an awesome calculator and I honestly love it. Very easy to read and see. However, if you are like me and is purchasing it for college, reach out to other students there or something before you get this. This is a very expensive calculator and I got it thinking I could use it for all of my college math classes, however I was very wrong. They would not let me use the calculator at all and I had to buy a basic non-graphing calculator to use for my exams and class in general. It was kinda a big waste of money as I haven’t been able to use it for a class which was it’s purpose, but it is still a great calculator so I’m obviously going to keep it for my own personal uses. So my recommendation is to reach out to other students who are in classes that you have to take or wait before purchasing this until you get your classes and view the syllabus for that particular teacher. Bought this for my son at his request. It does everything he needs and then some. He is in AP calculus and loves this calculator.

This calculator was an option among required calculators for my college statistics class, and therefore were learning to use it and a couple of lower models. I would say what makes the biggest difference, and what makes me really glad I got this one specifically, is the graphical interface. You input numbers into an actual table instead of having to put them in a list separated by commas. As a more visual learner, thats huge for me. This has a lot of those little quality of life things that are really helping me a lot with getting an A in the class.

Nice working tool with bright, clearly visible screen. Too delicate plastic: delivered with cracks next to almost all buttons. Unfortunately, this is not That old-style TI84. I will not return it, but I cannot consider this as a long-term purchase. Next time, I will prefer another manufacturer

Prices are similar online and in store. My son need one for school. Amazon had ones that were colorful. I got him a color one so he knows it is his. Plus, math can use a little pop of color. ;)
