Greater than one weekIts good for a calculator. You really cant be expecting THAT much from these calculators, especially Texas Instruments. These are recognized by teachers/professors all around and are also certified to be allowed on AP, SAT, and ACT tests. I have them at my high school for pre-calculus and calculus. They do what theyre supposed to do and thats that. Also, most of these calculators are not worth the money but we have to work with what we have. Well see how long it lasts. This calculator might be a little difficult to use at first but once you get used to it, it becomes much easier. The screen is not touchscreen, but the square in the middle of the calculator allows you to drag your finger and have a cursor on your screen to tap instead of pressing buttons. The calculator did not come with any damage, and it looks brand new. The calculator itself is thin, if youre going to put it somewhere where it is not protected it will most definitely break. I have a feeling the case will not be enough to protect it. The screen is made out of glass(or maybe hard plastic), but once it breaks Im not sure if itd stop working. The color is white, black on the sides and the back. The case is a plain blue, around #0080ff! The back of the case and the calculator both have little rubber pieces attached to avoid them from scratching and sliding when set down. The package came 6 days earlier than it said it would. The package was a little bent at the back, but it didnt effect the contents. It came with the calculator, its case, a micro usb cable, and a guide. I will try to come back and edit the review after a few months.

> 3 dayThe only issue might be press to test mode since another calculator is needed to turn it off.

> 3 dayI bought this for my son to use for school & that he can use for all his test, ACT, AP, SAT & PSAT. His school issue him a TI 84 plus CE & he tell me that is is very different than his CX II, their input & operation are different. There was a learning curve for him to get use to the CX II but once you learn the operation is was easy to use. The teacher were not able to help him since they are train to use the TI 84. He like it better than TI 84 & it is easier that the TI 84 to input info & formulas.

> 3 dayVery well made construction. Easy to read screen. Several modes of calculating. Great for students or business. One draw back is the lack of a comprehensive user guide. It will take some time to fully understand how to use.

> 3 dayFirst, let me say that buying this refurbished was probably the most economical way to go about it. How TI calculators get away with being so expensive and doing so little compared to a much smaller and more feature-rich smartphone, I never will understand (aside from palms in the testing industry getting greased). The calculator itself works well and is easy to understand and use after going through a few video tutorials on YouTube. The battery life is impressive (measured in weeks or months as opposed to hours or days with a smartphone, even with daily use). But value? Come on--over a hundred dollars for something with less power than the smartphone I had a decade ago?
