My chinchilla likes it! I thought the ledge was gonna be smaller but I ended up liking the size very much. The only thing I don’t quite love it’s the size of the metal washers. If they were bigger they would fit any type of cage and secure the ledge better but I could always buy some for very cheap. Overall I really liked the product.

My chinchillas are extremely difficult to shop for. Theyd rather chew the walls than any toys. But, they went straight to this one and started gnawing on it. I love it!

Much bigger than expected. Sturdy, smooth and large chew blocks. Ledge screwed in nicely to a double critter nation cage with no issues.

Overall, this is a pretty unsafe cage item. As a supervised play thing, its great. Chins love it. However, the wood ledge is thinner than most ledges youd put in a cage, it only has 2 wing nuts and 2 (too small) washers. The weight of a small chin is enough to cause it to pitch down. I use it for a floor toy in an exercise pen only. This is also not a single piece of wood - mine is two pieces saw-tooth cut and put together, which means some type of adhesive was used. Keep a close eye on it, and on your chins - check it daily, but do not use it in a cage full time. Better safe than sorry. 2 stars because at least the lava pieces are 100% safe.

My chins love this! The ledge is a bit too wide and has stability issues. I just tighten it daily to make sure it’s safe. I have replaced to chew in the middle several times but they love the one it comes with the most.

My chinchilla Mochi loves this product. He likes to spin the little lava chewies and nibble them to a degree that seems excessive. Im curious though...the line attached to the platform is replaceable. Are there replacement chewies for this product?

Platform holes wider than the rail posts, I had to drill new holes closer together to assemble. Wood is very lightweight, with several large chips peeling off. The 2 included washers are in no way stable enough to secure it, had to get 2 more. Poor quality all around. Wont be buying again.

I received the wrong item. I guess if they are out of stock they just substitute it with something else. In my case some thing that will not work whatsoever for my animals. I would have much rather have been contacted about this. This order was placed over 30 days ago there was more than enough time for me to be contacted.
