The Cat Messenger

I received this book as a gift. Although it can be read in a few hours, I turned it into a week long ritual with our cat, Jig. Everyday after work I would lay on the couch with Jig curled up on my chest and read a short section aloud to him. He was mesmerized by the story line and characters. He listened intently and studied the illustrations with great care. His paws would tense up whenever the going got a little dicey for Guerrier and Jean-Paul. Perhaps Guerriers story reminded him of one of his own past lives. It was a fun read and the cat and I got to spend some quality time together.

I love this book!! It’s a must for all cat lovers! The illustrations are purrrfect and the whole book is so creative!!

This was such a fun, easy read - not only is the premise clever, but the writing is breezy, the illustrations will make you smile, and now and again youll laugh out loud.
