The Hillman Group 123133 19 Gauge Galvanized Steel Wire, 50-Feet, 1-Pack

I was using this to hold some plants. plants fell. its somewhat close to the max load 20 lbs. plant weighed 16 lbs. overall product is good, but dont expect this to get close to its listed weight. my guess is thinner it is, the more variance of load limit.

I bought this for securing a heater on a camping trip I have coming up. I was skeptical that it might not be sturdy enough, but I shouldnt have worried. Its a bit more sturdy than the wire on a large paper clip, and will be more than enough for the job. See photo. Great item, good value. This review refers to the 19 gauge galvanized wire.

Using it for LED projects, really stable

The product image does not match the description. The image is for 110 ft of 1.2 mm steel wire. You get 50 ft of 1 mm steel wire.

If you’re looking for a very sturdy wire, this could be for you, but don’t try to use it to wrap around a ribbon. It is way too strong for that and needs super strong hands. You’d be better off buying chenille stems.

OK for galvanized wire. Not expecting a lot

Its exactly what I was looking for

I ordered this to jury rig a problem I was having with a vehicle; parts I ordered from the dealer were not coming in for another week. I had purchased a heavier gauge at a hardware store, but found the heavier gauge didnt work well in a tight space. So this gauge was perfect for getting the job done. Easier to bend around and thread through tight spaces. My only concern, is if I try to do some off roading, not so sure itd be a good idea until I can replace with the dealer parts. I know the product wasnt designed for what I needed to do, but overall, Id say its a great product and will at least allow me to drive long distances without worrying that itll break like a plastic zip tie might.
