Super thick and no scent!

I bought and loved Honest wipes for years. I guess the Honest Company cut cost by changing the material and formula, because these were thin, rough, and had a overpowering unpleasant odor. Cheaply made and definitely not worth the value anymore.

Wipes were unopened but wasn’t very moist and had crud (as pictured) on all 4 of the packages that came in the pack.

These are my favorite wipes. They are thick and you only need one versus a few of the other brands.

I think I should preface my review by stating that I dont have children *sigh* and instead buy these wipes for myself. Im very picky about what I put onto and into my body, having phased out chemicals and artificial substances from my beauty products, food, cleaning products, etc., years ago. But I still like using baby wipes for quick make-up removal, clean ups, and personal refreshing (especially in winter, when my tiled bathroom is just too freaking cold for frequent showers). So finding a wipe which measured up to my standards - no artificial dyes or perfumes, no multisyllabic chemical names, something that cleans without leaving behind a sticky, greasy, or yucky feeling - was quite difficult. (Its a lot easier now than ten years ago, thats for sure!) When I found The Honest Company wipes, I knew I had a winner. The wipes are large enough to clean thoroughly without having to go through half a dozen at a time, they dont dry out the skin nor do they leave behind any nasty residue, and best of all theres no overwhelming fragrance, just a light, fresh scent. Now that they have the flip-top lids, the packs are even easier to dispense from, close, and store. If youre trying to go all-natural, either for yourself or your baby, you cant go wrong with these Honest Company wipes: For quality and value, theyre the best deal around!

I would use the up & up wipes but I decided to go with these and man do I love them. The are thick and I dont use as much bc they are durable and thick.

I USED to LOVE these wipes before they recently updated them. They used to be the perfect wipe and now I can’t handle the scent and they’re too wet. They smell like mothballs to me even thought they’re supposed to be fragrance-free. I reached out to the company asking about the change and got this response: “Since we do not formulate our Honest baby wipes with fragrance, the difference in scent can be attributed to the food grade preservatives. We upgraded our preservative system by swapping out the Silver Citrate with a food grade preservative system of Sodium Benzoate and Ethylhexylglycerin. We also enhanced the moisture content of the wipes for a more efficient clean.” I’m so bummed because now I’m on the hunt for another perfect wipe.

I love these wipes so when I saw they were on sale from Amazon I bought them. Unfortunately they have mold around the opening but I was willing to look past that so I wiped it off and opened it. They smell sour....
