I have a small extra bedroom that is a dedicated litter room, which is great except that I had to leave the door cracked all the time to allow my five cats access and it was so annoying. Not to mention, these little stinkers could sometimes close the door on each other, and thats just bad news! So I decided to put this cat door in and it was a great choice! My boyfriend installed it so I cant say how easy that was, but he says it wasnt an issue at all and it only took him roughly an hour, mostly because he decided to hot glue the seam just in case my little brats try to claw the door off. Overall, its a cute way to frame a cat door and Im so happy that I bought it!

This item is a MUST if you have a cat. We had 2 in our old house, and this was one of the first things I bought when we moved into our new house. Its perfect for hiding away food or litter boxes in another room and keeping the door shut so kids/dogs cant access it. Everyone that comes over is so intrigued by this little contraption. I would 100% recommend buying this!

Had to find a bigger door. My cat blew up to 17lbs, and got stuck in a small cat door. This is the same size as her hips heading to the basement. Great for allowing the cats to go downstairs and keeping the dog up.

I am IN LOVE with you his cat door and so are my cats! We moved into a new house and wanted to keep the litterbox in the laundry room. This product made that possible! River is the tabby cutie in the picture. He is 19.5 pounds - he fits and loves it. It was easy for my husband to install but I will admit he is handy and has tons of tools. Easily one of my favorite Amazon purchases!

We just installed this. Super easy with a jigsaw. I used the inner liner as my guide instead of the paper template. The template seemed slightly larger and I was worried it would be too big. Once we got the hole cut we were easily able to put the mold in place and used the stickers/adhesive tape it comes with to secure. I might get caulking to make it look even more flushed but that’s just a personal preference. Once installed cat took to opening immediately. My cat is not a oversized, and she fit easily with lots of side clearance. Definitely would recommend.

Should have been easier to install but without noticing, the included stencil outline to cut out is not for XL version. As you can see in my attached photo, the cutout needed to be bigger so I had to custom cutout a second time to make it fit correctly. Included for one side are white caps to cover the screw heads, well you better just super glue these on or your cars will brush by them and they will fall right off. Other then that good design, sturdy plastic, cats love it, even if the door is open at times they walk through their hole :)

Very cute passway and easy to install but overpriced. The strip between the 2 door is just cardboard. The stencil is also oversized so i suggest cutting the door stencil a little more inside the line

My husband and I have had cats throughout our 31 year marriage. It wasnt until I received my 75lbs Golden Retriever PTSD service dog from a veterans organization that we needed to keep food bowls & litter box treats separated. (Yes, those buried litter box treasures smell like food to your dog ... just FYI lol). We needed a solution to keep our animals from eating each others foods. So, we purchased the smaller version 1st ... not knowing there was a larger size. But for food? My 21lbs fat cat squeezes into the pantry doors cat hole just fine! I painted the pantry doors pieces brown to represent our tiny tortie siamese kitty. I wanted the bigger cat hole for our laundry room door to make certain that my black fat cat would use it. And to keep my new service dog out of their litterbox! I mean ... eeewww! Spray paint is your friend! We ordered 2 sizes of this adorable cat-hole! I sprayed 1 black, 1 brown. I prefer the larger size just because it works so well for larger cats. My techie-geek hubby & his friend with the skill saw knocked this job out quickly. Easy to use template! Now my new Golden Retriever service girl stays out of the cats food bowls and away from the special treat box! So cute and functional! Score!
