I got this gift for my Goddaughter for her 17th Birthday, yes this is what she has been asking for for years! Shes really cool at school but adores Harry Potter, even publicly! So I actually had one of these wands and it snapped when my younger cousin was playing with it and the handle is wood with resin coating and the longer shaft of the wand is pure resin hope this helps people!! So essentially its all resin with a wooden core
