I’m a nursing student and I love this backpack! Holds everything perfectly

TNF Borealis is a great backpack. This one replaced my 20 year old Borealis that finally wore out. The new one is better suited for carrying a laptop and has fleece lined front pocket for phone. I have yet to take it hiking but am sure it will perform just as well as my previous backpack.

The product is good looking, well-made and practical, whether as a backpack for travel or as a books bag for busy students. There is another version, very similar (about 1 less in all three dimensions) intended for girls. It even has gold lettering rather than the typical white North Face logo. Some girls may prefer the larger bag with the traditional white logo.

My daughter loves this backpack. She’s in her first year of Highschool. It’s the perfect size and holds everything she needs.

I both this bag to replace may old travel backpack. I work from home so I didnt had carry it for everyday use. But within six months (on m 2nd trip), one of the laptop compartment zipper teeth got loose causing that compartment to no close properly and making it useless in wet (or tough) weather condition. I cant risk carrying my $2500 laptop in this piece of junk. What a waist of money!

We initially bought the jester backpack for school but found it a little small. This one has so many pockets to help organize things and there is a lot of room to carry stuff. Perfect for school or traveling.
