THE NORTH FACE Cryptic Laptop Backpack, Zinc Dark Grey Heather/Persian Orange, One Size

I needed a new backpack for my laptop and work supplies. I researched a ton of bags specifically looking for something that was durable, had a separate area for the laptop, and plenty of pockets for organization. I travel frequently between locations. This bag is very comfortable and doesn’t strain my shoulders like other bags do. It is sturdy enough to stand by itself and not collapse when I take the laptop out. I’m the middle pocket I can keep a large cosmetic bag, a notebook, pencil case, and my lunch. The smaller front pocket has great pockets that keep my keys, hand sanitizer, pens, highlighters handy. The water bottle pockets fit a 24 oz bottle. I can see myself using this for years versus my other bags that I was only able to use for about a year or less due to their poor quality.

Overall I like the pack. The size and the comfort. But it doesn’t sit upright when you place it on the ground. I never had a pack that had to be laid down on the ground on its back. Inconvenient for me but perhaps it works for others.

Its a decent bag but I wouldnt buy it again. The front pocket is positioned at the top of the bag, instead of the bottom where it is usually located. I think I get what they were going for in terms of functionality, but as a side effect the bag tends to be top heavy, and instead of sitting up it falls over.

I was told by the seller that this bag is unosex however there is a tag on it that clearly says “women”. And the straps are too small for my shoulders. Update the add to show that it is a womens backpack.

Much superior to cheap backpack/book bags used by a majority of students. Adds support where it’s needed and helps alleviate stooped back, bad posture exhibited by kids using cheap backpacks with heavy loads of books.
