The Original 36 Spa Teak Shower Bench with Shelf

Solid shower bench and the oil is is teak oil not the stain stuff!

I bought this one after returning one 36 inch teak bench from Decoteak that was way too dark. This one in the same size is far better, lighter in color and ideally complements the Scan Teak wood in my house. Currently being used as a tv stand for a small 32 inch. Would hold up to a 40 inch that measures 36 inches in width. The bottom shelf is perfect for a few books and the small cable box. It looks great.

This is a quality piece. Assembly was easy because everything aligned properly. Feels very sturdy and comfortably supports 200+ pond adult. Happy I chose the version with no tray or rails because it’s easy to place rolled up towels on the bottom shelf. The teak wood feels smooth and high quality.

Very sturdy. Has adjustable feet so you can be assured of a level bench even though your shower is not level due to draining. Id definately purchase again.

I ordered this roughly 5 months ago and its been in our shower for about 4 months. I noticed today that some of the wood is wearing down, almost into a sand like substance. Our shower is large and this is in a corner where not much water hits, but it will still get damp from some water or mist when we are showering. I had to take it out since the degrading material is getting into our grout and drain. Overall I didnt expect much for a cheap shower bench off Amazon, but considering its $250 and meant for showers Im surprised it doesnt hold up better.

We received the product but were surprised to see it appeared as though it had been a used bench. Marks and scratches were on the wood. We were able to clean up the discoloration and clean the scratches. We like the bench but disappointed the product was shipped in this condition. We chose to keep the product since were able to fix the damage.
