I first saw this movie years after it was released on Netflix and had me crying. Im not much of a crier but the meaning of the movie is what many of us struggle with, finding and knowing God and finding Him again. We all have our losses and this movie helped me not only to heal after losing my mom but also to find God again. This is a must watch and must have.

Loved it! Every single moment. Heart wrenching. Soulful. Everyone should watch this video.

I originally got this movie from the library - it is a very insightful, thought provoking, inspirational movie. Liked it so much I bought it!

The Shack This good hearted and spiritual movie is rated with nearly a whopping 5 stars. So unusual for this kind of movie. So I just had to check it out. After watching it - This little sleeper amazingly deserves it! It starts out like a nice calm drive through the neighborhood, then it turns the spiritual corner onto faster traffic. The speed increase forces you to start spiritually hanging on tighter (paying attention). Then, before youre ready, it pulls you onto an unassuming freeway on-ramp. Youll find yourself spiritually holding on even tighter out of fear and tragedy. Then, before you know it, youll find yourself uncomfortably white knuckling it at 100 miles an hour until it abruptly starts slowing down towards an off ramp. Youll feel relieved things are slowing down - just to catch your breath. At the end, it parks you at a beautiful quiet place where you cant help but reflect on the journey you just had. A must watch for All Believers (And Nonbelievers). Thank God for such an inspirational movie!

always makes me cry then thank God for everything

It doesnt matter if you are a newly devout Christian or have known God your whole life, this movie is for everyone! The cast was terrific and played their part very well. But the message behind this movie is truly astounding and beautiful. It answered questions that I didnt even know needed answering. It made some ideas that can be hard to understand into something that could be understood. There was some laughter and a lot of crying but I can tell you that it was worth it!

I would recommend this movie to anyone regardless of whether they are religious or not.

I loved this movie and will re-watch it, but I also was aware during a lot of it my surface mind was saying this is such a Hallmark thin feel good thing. I let the judgments come and go and stayed with the theme and wept in several parts because it touched that sense of separation I feel so often. I hope watching this film brings you healing, peace and a renewed sense of wonder. You are loved. <3
