19-11-2024I needed this umbrella as a prop for a theatrical production. It has an old-timey look, which was perfect for the show, and the quality was great for the price.

> 3 daySorry to say this but the wood topper came off within one day of owning it. This item is nice visually but didnt stand up in durability at all. Its been returned.

> 3 dayThis little workhorse of an umbrella is quite a surprise. It is easy to carry, having a curved handle. Opening - a good, strong snap. The canopy size surprised me, as well. Multiple colors, I chose green. Very pleased.

> 3 dayIt’s a beautiful umbrella for a very fair price! Definitely big enough for two people. Love the grey color. Very neutral.

Greater than one weekTo be fair Im a snob when it comes to quality. The first bullet point in the Amaz ad is Quality and that is what sold me. Well the quality of the fabric seems pretty standard and what you would expect. The main part of any umbrella though is the pole. The wood pole is not as sturdy as one expects; seems very dainty. Also the handle discolored and scratched after just a few normal uses. Im contemplating doing a mod with a leather grip to protect the handle. However just the other day as I was closing the umbrella, wrapping the fabric back up (which has to be done with a twist motion) I heard a crack as if I just snapped something. I inspected but couldnt find anything. I wouldnt be surprised if the handle comes off at some point.

Greater than one weekI just wanted to comment on the site ad. It says, if you look at the right picture, wood tipped ribs. If you look elsewhere the tips are wood grained plastic! Not to smart if you want people to trust you. But - they look good and are priced the same as I see elsewhere. At least you can find them - looking in stores is a waste of time. Nice colors too.
