> 24 hourI bought this having a fair degree of confidence in my DIY skills. This part is ONLY the digitizer screen, so it is only the glass screen. It does not include the plastic frame. Decided to put this up since it seems some shoppers are buying this thinking its the whole screen and frame and then crying foul. To replace it you will have to disassemble your tablet and the either use a hot air gun, heat gun or the dry ice method ( Google it ). This is not something you want to try to do in a hurry. Take your time to heat up on freeze and the slowly work your way with a blade around the edges of the screen to cut through the adhesive and use a phone pry tool or similar instrument to slow start lifting the screen away from the frame. Most sources recommend heating the area between 100 to 120 Celsius, so keep the heat gun moving. Dont let it sit on a single spot for too long or you risk warping the frame. Once you get all four corners removed use another blade to carefully scrape away the remaining adhesive and then wipe with rubbing alcohol or acetone. You can go the extra mile and use some Goo Gone. Remove the plastic backing on the inner side as the adhesive strip and carefully line up the corners. Do not press down on it, you only want to make sure all side are lined up. Turn the screen over and place it on a flat surface and carefully press down along the edged of the frame. ( My stupid bum did this while holding the frame in my hands and cracked it along one of the edges. Screen works fine and the crack is not visible but it ticked me off from being careless. One you are done. Reassemble, power her up and hopefully it was your digitizer that was bad and you can enjoy your tablet again. UPDATE 7/14/21 So I noticed that the touch sensitivity on this screen is maybe too sensitive or a bit off. When I click on an item like a menu that is on the top edge or corner, I have to tap a little lower than before or else it will not recognize it. Also, if I have multiple tabs open in a browser it is a bit less precise. Before I could just tap pretty close on the X to close a tab and not more often than not it will open a new one. I ran the Touch Screen calibration and it appears to have done the trick!

> 24 hourSaved buying a new tablet. Looks just like the original. Touch screen works like new. Take your time & it takes a lot of patience. I used a hair drier on high. Get all of the old adhesive off - used Goo Gone and isopropyl alcohol. Watch out for the clear plastic on the front of the display. It wants to curl under and get into the adhesive while you are trying to line up the screen. The cable on the back has adhesive as well. Go slow & be careful.
