I replaced my cracked screen with this. It is a perfect fit and match.

This is a good replacement digitizer screen product, it fits perfectly, but you need to know a few things. I will add some of my experience here, for your benefit. Removing the digitizer glass was a pain, but you can watch those youtube videos, they can help you a lot in understanding what needs to be done to remove the digitizer glass. That process is not easy at all, it takes some effort. I have used the heat gun and a few razor blades that I carefully worked in, a few millimeters at time, leaving some razor blades in position while I worked other areas. This razor blades + heat gun trick was repeated until the digitizer glass was removed. Cleanup was not too bad, I have used some denatured alcohol to clean the residues of glue/screen tape that held original digitizer screen in place. This is my second digitizer screen glass that I am replacing on same Samsung 10 tablet. First glass was accidentally dropped and cracked before I was able to apply it to my Samsung tablet. So, technically it is my first successful replacement of digitizer glass :-) I was very unhappy about dropping and damaging the digitizer glass right before I was ready to apply it and I was very unhappy that I was unable to finish my project but I did not give up, I packed up the tablet parts in plastic bags and then ordered a replacement digitizer screen so that I can try again. And, so I have tried this process again, and it was a success. But, it was not easy. Here is what I learned and what it could help you specifically with replacement of the digitizer screen glass; -- be careful when you peel off the protective clear plastic! Make sure that black self-sticky tape stays on the digitizer frame, that it is not pulled away with the plastic sheet. I made that mistake, I have never done this before and the tape was peeling off the frame, instead of staying on digitizer framew! I had to carefully reposition black self sticky tape on digitizer screen frame and peel of the transparent plastic sheet while making sure that tape stays on screen frame. I think that protective plastic and double sided tape have better adhesion than double sided tape and digitizer frame, hence this problem. -- make sure that your digitizer screen is not touched from inside so it does not leave the smudges or fingerprints. I made that mistake too. Cleaning was a pain in the ... you know where. Try avoiding this mistake. Best advice is to avoid touching the digitizer pad glass from the inside once the protective plastic is removed! -- you can use denatured alcohol to clean the tablet screen part (that is the LCD screen behind digitizer screen glass) but make sure you do not touch any other area around the screen -- it could remove the black masking around the screen. I have done that mistake too. Use this advice together with instructional videos from YouTube on how to replace the digitizer and you should have satisfying results. Please keep in mind that digitizer screen replacement is not an easy process, it requires some patience and some trial and error. Unfortunately, trial and error means that you can mess up things, but hey -- that is the life! This is a good replacement digitizer screen so if you feel like doing this project yourself -- go ahead and order one.

This screen came quickly, fit perfectly on the samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 and now works flawlessly. I will say that I had a much more difficult time getting the case apart than the guy on the youtube video I watched. The key seems to be making sure you get the corner to pop free, after that its a cakewalk. It also helps to have a second person holding the hair dryer on the screen keeping it hot while you cut it loose from the tablet.

Just received this item today and the install was easy. The problem is that the screen was unresponsive to the touch. Some help with this would be greatly appreciated thank you! BTW the model number of my actual screen digitizer is MCF-101-0403-v3

Faulty product

Installed in 15 minutes... looks and works perfectly! While there was a black piece of tape covering the Samsung name/logo, but it is there and looks as good as the original. Some have commented that this is plasticky vs. the glass feel of the original. Side by side I cannot tell the difference. The original one that I removed feels like plastic too. I did plug it in and tested before I installed it as others say it didnt work upon installation. I would say with 95% certainty that the problem is not plugging it in properly. one more bit of advice... when you remove the back plastic covering that covers the digitizer and the adhesive, it builds up static electricity that grabs lint. Let the static dissipate before installation. Otherwise, you will likely have lint under your screen. Also avoid fingerprints on the screen and digitizer before assembly. Enjoy! Will update this if it fails or has problems.
