I was desperate, because, I have a very hot I7 7820 x Skylake Chip and this has helped me get temps down to 32-37* idle. I dont know whether the added cost is justified by a 5 degree reduction. I would probably buy again because it is premium quality. Packaging, accessories, and actual recommended instructions. BTW I used the cover the whole chip way...

Greater than one weekthe worst thermal paste Ive ever had. gpu temperature goes up to 90.. with factory paste it was 80.. worst purchase ever

Greater than one weekTop of the line nonconductive thermal paste. I dont like the applicator that comes with it, however. The paste feels too thick to use properly for me. This doesnt detract from the quality of the product, as I simply dont use the applicator and use the pea sized drop method.
