> 24 hourThis is my first build in 4.5 years, so this time around I wanted to do tons of research. Im installing a CPU water cooler for the first time ever and researching that a fair amount led me to these CPU brackets. Ive never been satisfied with the cheezy, light weight CPU brackets/fasteners which come standad on MBs. This seemed like a valuable asset for just $14. Im running a 13th Gen Intel on an MSI Z690 ACE MB. As you can see from the pic, the fit looks very clean and the aluminum bracket is well machined. I do not know if temps will be lowered vs the stock guillotine bracket but it sure holds the Intel in place far better. And that can only be good.

> 24 hourIf you have a 12th or 13th gen processor, this is a must have. I installed this frame on two different computers and it dropped temps by at least 8 degrees on each. Install is super easy if you follow the steps in the Gamers Nexus youtube video.

> 24 hourI tried this modification because I didnt like how much torque was being applied to my CPU when using the stock fastener. I am not sure if it was actually bending the chip but it was under too much pressure in my opinion. Temps improved slightly. Easy to remove original and install and looks cleaner than original silver clamp. Comes with tool to remove and reinstall screws.

> 24 hourLiterally dropped temps by 20c just by adding this to my i5 12600k.

> 24 hourOverall, Good frame, unfortunately I took off my old thermal grizzly (TG) paste and I went from an idle of 35⁰ to 42⁰ on a 13700k. So I reseated the cooler, same story. Finally I went to my microcenter and in a last ditch effort got more TG. After applying it, my cpu dropped to a cool 30⁰ this frame cost a fraction of TGs and gave me a 5⁰ drop and under load got my cpu to stop thermal throttling (on a liquid cooled system mind you)

> 24 hourInstalled this on my Asus Maximus Z790 Hero with no problems. Used factory screws from motherboard and no issues. Make sure to tighten in criss cross pattern to make sure it tightens evenly and doesn’t bend. Highly recommend as this also lowered my CPU temps on my 13900k

> 24 hourPurchased this for my first Intel build ever. I installed this after using the stock bracket and seeing some relatively high temps. A quick search of Reddit brought up many recommendations for this, so I picked one up. It’s reduced the max temp on my 13700k from around 90c to about 85c with my EK Nucleus 360mm AIO. Definitely worth the cost IMO, even came with free thermal paste. I didn’t use the paste, but it’s a nice touch for sure.

> 24 hourI was skeptical, but after struggling with my OC 13700K temps despite custom loop I decided to give this a try. No change in ambient, test, or overclock with a 12 degree delta. 12 degrees for a ten minute installation is massive. Cinebench caps at 88 now when I was hitting 100 and throttling previously. 5.7ghz all core and happy.
