> 24 hourOur granddaughter was super excited to use her new cards. She loved putting most of the stack in the I know section. The colored coded number sections gave her a sense of accomplishment.

> 24 hourI looked at a LOT of flashcard options. Being an educator, I was appalled by most options. Other cards were very confusing because they had the answer to back problem on the front of the card, where you were looking at a completely different problem. This runs the risk of confusing kids on so many levels and made it difficult to use those cards in math centers (when you want to carefully pick and choose which options are out). Also NONE of the cards had anything visual at all to demonstrate the math... and mass memorization is not true learning. Besides most kids dont mass memorize anything without some context or meaning to it. After looking at pages and pages of flashcards, I had nearly given up hope and thought I would have to make my own flashcards (who wants all that work and laminating?). Finally, i found this set of flashcards. What a blessing! Yes these flashcards are more expensive... but they did subtraction flashcards the RIGHT way. First, every problem has its own card - no sharing, no conflicting answers, and very straight forward. Second, it displays the problem on front and the answer on back.... and that answer is shown VISUALLY. When something is taken away there is a minus sign in the box in the diagram. No cards on the market are as good as these. I immediately bought all 4 boxes.

> 24 hourI bought these for my daughter who has limited vision. They are nice and big and easy to read. I chose these because they have only one problem per card with the answer in large print. Many others have the answer I’m small print which didn’t work for us.

> 24 hourI have tried different flash cards and these are hands down the best. There are three dividers within each box, which is motivating to get all cards in the mastered section. These cards kept my Son’s attention, which is usually 2 seconds. Of your child has ADHD or anxiety, I would try these.

> 24 hourWe have purchased Think Tanks products before. We were very happy with their word flashcard sets and are still using them, so when we searched for cards for math, I was pleased to see that they had those too. As with the word cards, the bottom line value for us as busy parents is the high yield factor. I have found that I get a lot of results from small focused amounts of time, a few times a week. We purchased the addition, subtraction and multiplication sets. Our kids are 7 and 5. Outside of legos or comics, our son, 7, has literally no attention span. The structure of the cards with the separate tabs for Mastered, Sort of Know, and Dont Know made it very easy for him to see progress which was motivating. He can look at the box and see the Mastered section growing each time and its clear how much satisfaction it gives him. With the multiplication cards, we started with the zeros, gave him the simple rule, Every multiplied by zero is zero. Gets them all right. Then the ones: everything by 1 is the same. Gets them all right. Hes on an early winning streak, and then its easier to move onto the higher complexity with an early base of confidence and engagement. He already counts by 2s and 3s at school, so we start out with those sections of the multiplication table in sequence so he sees the connection with addition, and he gets another winning streak. Then mix it up. Gets some wrong, but some right, but its ok and he tries again. So hes also learning about the process of how how to learn, and work from mistakes. So overall, pleased with the product so far. And each time we run through a section of cards, its literally maybe 10 minutes at a time. Like during breakfast. Works for us. Other plusses: I like the sturdy construction of the box-and-cap packaging and the general attention to aesthetics with the helpful learning graphics. We have other flashcards that are packed like a deck of cards, and they literally look like they have been shredded by wild animals (I guess little kids qualify as that) and the cards constantly falling out. Thanks for another great product.

> 24 hourThis is a really well-made and creative product. It is so easy to use and my kid finds it quite fun. I was excited to find the system and I know we will use it for years to come. I love the little boxes that they are stored in and it is really a high-quality product. I would highly recommend this.
