The child I bought it for is a dinosaur lover, so he loves the puzzle. Easy to put together, even for a five year old, because the back of the puzzle is set up in lettered sections. You build the small lettered sections and flip them to build the bigger dinosaur puzzle.

The border has images of each animal in the puzzle and tells us what they are. Excellent way to have fun and learn at the same time.

The colors we awesome and it was very educational

My kids love this puzzle. They are 4 and 7. They finished it together. It was a nice challenge for them. The picture is fun and very colorful. The pieces are large and thick enough to be used again and again. The back has letters so you can know where pieces go. This is a nice touch to keep young ones from getting too frustrated. The edge of the puzzle is labeled with each creatures name. It makes learning effortless. My kids wanted to learn more about certain fish after working on this puzzle! I think this would be a great gift for children. We highly recommend it.

Perfect puzzle for my 4-almost-5-year-old. The quality is great! We have the jungle puzzle from the same maker and wed recommend that too, though that one is slightly more difficult. This teaches focus, patience and basic puzzle strategy. I had to help my son with the strategy the first time and probably will have to a couple more times, but hell be able to do it all by himself after a few tries. The puzzle is nice and large, the pieces are sturdy cardboard, the colors are vibrant and go together and come apart easily. Theres also a bit of a cheat on the back with lettered sections, but its not really needed. Definitely recommended!
