Our metal vents were beginning to show signs of rust after 20 years with condensation forming on the metal from the cold air coming out of our A/C during the hot humid months. Purchased 4 of these to replace the rusting metal vents and the problem stopped. No more water dripping off the cold metal vents. AS these new vents are made out of a high grade plastic the only concern I have is the durability of the vent control switch. It appears to be the only weak link in the product. We dont adjust the airflow from the vents very often so I dont know how long the vent control switch will last. But for the price I can easily buy two of these for the price of one of the metal vents. I expect good service out of these new ones for at least 5 years.

My AC returns would always sweat because they were metal my air-conditioning guy recommended getting the plastic ones because they don’t sweat and they were wonderful

Really like these better than the metal ones we had.

Original was steel and rusted with steam from the shower, even with vent fan on. This one is fairly sturdy plastic and fits great. Very happy with the purchase.

Replaced a 23-yo partially rusted, metal ceiling AC/heating register in a bathroom. Fit perfectly and easy to install. (Make sure you measure correct inside dimensions of the duct.) The two original screw holes did not align exactly so had to drill one new hole but that was minor issue. New register looks great and Im happy plastic will never rust. Would buy this brand again if needed to replace other metal registers.

Well worth the money.
