I like the rounded molded curves and subtle lime green accents on the exterior of this Thule carry-on. It makes it look distinct as well as attractive compared to the basic square carry-on. Inside, it is also lined with lime green trim and has two primary storage areas. The first is inside the lid and separated from the bottom half by a zippered mesh divider. In addition to keeping the top half contents of the case separated, it also allows anything stored within the top half to breath. The bottom half of the case is divided from the top by a compression panel that attaches to the case via plastic ratchets on each side. It can be raised, lowered and set at a desired spot along the ratchets by pulling inward on the small green straps attached to each ratchet. Lowering the compression panel can compress clothing in the bottom half to allow more space. The compression panel has a zippered storage portion but its not very spacious and can only accommodate small items or one piece of light clothing. It may fit two if theyre small pieces like underwear. Finally, there is a small zippered pocket outside of the case which contains another small zippered mesh pocket within. Its large enough to hold one or two pieces of clothing, a small pair of shoes o personal items like toiletries.

The sexiest carry on I have now :) clean lines and stays put in its shape in spite of being made of cloth like material..

I am very pleased with the Thule Subterra Carry-On for its clever design and attention to a customer’s needs. Made of nylon, around 7 lbs., with three color choices (Dark Shadow, Mineral, Ember), the smooth nylon finish is easy to clean and carry. One of the most aggravating parts of travel these days, it is a pleasure to bring this Carry-On on board a crowded plane with very little space for extras. (The tough, oversized wheels and telescoping handles are a welcome touch, as is the piggyback strap attachment loop should you need to attach another bag.

This carry-on bag has some good and some not-so-good features. First off, I like the big wheels; theyll hold up better to wear than the tiny wheels many suitcases have. The telescoping handle is sturdy and I like the fact that you can attach a smaller bag or laptop case to the suitcase using the loop at the top of the bag. There are compartments for the many things you carry when you travel: phone, keys, boarding pass, etc. There are handles to grab the bag easily and lift it into an overhead compartment or onto a luggage rack.

I have been very happy with this bag for its superior construction, ability to compress clothes, useful pockets, and it fits perfectly in an overhead bin. Downsides for me is that it does not hold a lot even with the compression ability (and the compression feature really wrinkled some of my clothes), and it is a little on the heavy side for its size.

This is a quality piece of luggage…sleek, sturdy and rolls great. It it is lightweight which makes it much easier to pull and lift when stowing in overhead carry on. It is very well designed and can hold a surprising amount of clothing due to a very handy removable cover inside that locks down to compress clothing. It has additional spacious compartments for shoes or other bulky items. A family member has had the same Thule luggage for 4 years now, used on many extensive trips and it’s still in excellent shape. Highly recommend!

I really needed a trolley like this and I spent much time reading reviews before buying it. It is almost perfect, the size is right, organization of the space is perfect, big enough for up to a 3 days trip. I do really like the internal space saver.

The Bad: The only thing I dont really like is the wheels, they are large(which is good) but they are made of a hard plastic and appear to be wearing pretty quickly relative to the rest of the bag.

My Lady and I used the roller and backpack for a 5day getaway to the Yucatán, worked great....no checked bags is the only way to go!

Husband is a frequent flyer and checked his bags until this Thule Subterra. Fits everything he needs for four days and three nights. The handy zipper pocket near the handle makes it easy to store his toiletries, phone, and tablet. Lightweight and easy to maneuver, this sleek roller fits easily in overhead bins.
