Greater than one weekBeing a Founding Member of Xbox Live I have Over a Decade Invested in My Xbox’s. I Have an Xbox 360 Elite with the Jasper Chipset that solved the RROD. It had a 120 Gig HDD. With this Years Influx of Free Games Every Two Weeks for Gold Members I was Rapidly Hitting an HDD that was Way Too Full. So I began My Search for a Larger HDD for My Overloaded Machine. Right Here is where I Found the Largest HDD Ever Made by M$ for the Xbox 360. Not Only was this a Great Find as it is Prime Eligible as well as an Incredible Low Price for the Maximum Sized HDD ever Available for the Xbox 360. I would also like to note that the Item is as Stated. It is Brand New, Unformatted, Sealed, and Arrived on Time. My Xbox 360 Elite is Black and the New HDD is Gray which is a Non Issue. Snapped Right on, the Writing is in Chinese which I’m sure is there origin. Formatting went smooth as Silk I Already Owned a Transfer Cable so after Moving all Content from the 120 Gig HDD to the 320 Gig HDD I could Finally Breath a Sigh of Relief and had Made a Future for my Console. That’s My Story, and I’d Do it all Again………. P:eace

> 3 dayI have been reading these reviews that say it does not work and they are getting some sort of error message or its not formatted correctly, but I purchased this because Microsoft did not offer an official hard drive on Amazon. Despite all the bad reviews, mine is working just fine. No loud fan or speed up noises, formatted to 290gb which is expected as you lose some of the data when formatting hard drives. The only issue that everyone is guaranteed to come across is that original Xbox games will not function! Original Xbox backwards compatible games are only supported by official Microsoft hard drives. But, there is a very easy fix if you have a way of connecting the hard drive to your computer, like with a Microsoft Transfer Cable or a 3rd party cable of some kind. > 3 dayDoes not come stock with Official 360 secondary partition, which is required for the original Xbox backwards compatibility. This can be fixed, though, with the official 360 hard drive USB transfer cable, and some software (Google). This fix took about 5 minutes, if that. Works perfectly now, and a great price for the size.
