> 3 dayI purchased these with a Ticonn crimper and didn’t realize that the crimper I bought didn’t have a die for the 24-22 gauge (“white”) splices. The butt splices are good quality and work well, just make sure you have the right crimper for your job. The red splices don’t work all that well for 22 gauge wire even though it’s within the listed range. Overall, I am glad to have these in the toolbox.

Greater than one weekI like these butt connectors because they have the heat shrink on the ends used them for a radio install . They crimp like normal ones then you use a heat gun to shrink and seal the wires to the connectors .
