> 24 hourBought this kid for my family to do during a party. The kit didn’t have all the colors. It had 4 of the same blues and 4 of the same reds, 2 of the same pinks. There is supposed to be 12 unique colors. Also, one of the dyes had a cap missing which created a HUGE mess inside the box because the dye went EVERYWHERE.

> 24 hourThe colors are definitely vibrant and varied. However, there is not nearly enough liquid to allow more than four or five shirts to be multicolored. Expect for every shirt to be a single color (used sparingly) if you want to make many shirts or items, because that is the only way you would be able to make as many tie dyed items as advertised.

> 24 hourDo not wash in washing machine for first time! It will bleed the colors together. I made that mistake and ruined our first batch of shirts. For first rince, run under cold water with rubberbands on till clear. Then dunk in warm water with vinager. Take rubberbands out and continue to rince with cold water. Then rince with hot water to finish. Hang dry.

> 24 hourI’m so disappointed in this product. I spent $70 on tees and a dress for my nieces and I to dye, and our hard day’s work dying 3 tees each went down the drain, literally, as I rinsed the colors a week later. Although the shirts were dry, as the directions said, most of the color washed out. The color also ran, which could have been a result of improper band removal (but I’ve done this with past kits and never had such a problem.) after washing, our freshly dyed clothes look dingy and used. I’m super disappointed that I have to show them to my nieces, because they were so excited pre-wash. I’m going to look for a new kit to buy to do it all over again. Oh! And the dark pink dye was labeled wrong. It was definitely red. Sooooo disappointed!
