Greater than one weekI think the kit came with everything you needed to tie dye even rubber bands, lots of colors. However I thought the colors faded a bit once washed and dried. But it’s a great project with lots of colors.

> 3 dayThis is an absolutely great kid. I have 3 kids and we picked this up, because sadly we werent able to go on our originally planned vacation. So this was chosen as one of the things that we were going to do while stuck at home. We were able to do 5 T-shirts (ranging in size from 4t to Large), and 5 large bath towels, and we still have some left over to do at least one more project. The kids had an absolute blast doing these. Colors are very good and thus far have not bled out during washings. Would definitely recommend this to others.

How to use Tie Dye?
1.Soak the cloth in water and squeeze away excess water.
2.Mix the dye with 110-120ml warm water and shake the bottle to dissolve the dye.
3.Tie the fabric into various shapes and spray it with your favorite colors.
4.Seal in plastic bag for 6 to 8 hours to rinse and dry.

- If you are doing a tie dye project with young children, supervise them well and let them know that a little dye goes a long way. From our experience as perents, kids can be a little heavy-handed with the dye.
- We highly recommend using natural fabrics, like cotton, wool, and rayon since they display the colours better. Other fabrics may not allow the tie dye to stick well or at all.
