> 24 hourI didnt buy mine here but saw this and wanted to leave my experience. I love this handy addition to my grooming box! It works well on curved surfaces like legs and faces. I have several horses who get lovey as soon as they see it come out for their face. They like the texture. Its rough enough to get small bits of mud and lots of short loose hairs out, but doesnt hurt sensitive places. I also like it to curve around their legs for a quick brush off. It probably is not what you want for mud clots, but great for curved and sensitive areas!

> 24 hourInteresting application for the same plastic mesh that intake air filters are made from. This is that same black plastic mesh used in vehicles to prevent bugs and debris from getting caught in the inner workings of the air conditioning and heating system. This same material is used to make buffer pads for floor polishing machines. This is not a sponge. It holds very little water. It would work better to apply water and soap if one side of it were an actual sponge, like those kitchen scrubbie sponges. That said, it did smooth my horse’s hair, and remove the loose hair. It seemed to remove a noticeable amount of loose dust, and I could see where it would remove lightly caked on dried mud, especially on the face and legs. And my horse did not seem to mind when I used it on the outside of his sheath and between his rear legs. I can’t imagine that this would be very effective on a winter coat or a shaggy pony. The little pokey parts are not very long, unlike a regular brush or curry, and they would not clean the loose skin and dirt under a thick coat. But, as I mentioned before, this is fine on the face, legs, sheath and bottom. I have used this dry on a horse with a summer coat. When I tried to use it wet on the same horse, I also needed a normal sponge to put water and soap on his coat, because it holds very little water. It seemed to scrub okay, but didn’t seem to do a better job than just a regular sponge. So, it is interesting. It may come in handy at some point. But a nice big kitchen scrubbie sponge would do the same or a better job, and not cost as much. You might be able to get four kitchen scrubbie for the price of one of these. Your mileage may vary. :)

> 24 hourThis item is like an equine magic eraser. It removes dirt and dander, it’s soft and stiff at the same time. Cleans off easily, and works very well for my thin skinned mare who is really touchy about brushes, curry combs. You won’t be disappointed.

> 24 hourI was so skeptical of this product at first, but so many people swore by it. I eventually caved to it due to curiosity of the products hype. It was a cheap product so why not? Just used it today on my thinned skinned, sensitive horse for bath time and he was totally relaxed!! No jitters and no moving away from me while I bathed him, He even stood quietly while I did his legs which he is not too fond of. Its a gentle product, super flexible, while still proving effective in reaching a deep lather and thorough cleansing of the coat and skin. Left my horse shiny and squeaky clean and he finally enjoyed bath time for once!! So happy I tried this product out as its my new go-to for bathing! Finally found a product that is to the standards of my pon and I :) No complaints!

> 24 hourI LOVE this thing. So do the horses. It conforms to their bodies while grooming, making it so much easier to get in spots like behind the elbows and down the legs. It lifts all the crusty dried sweat in a snap. Plus, it does a great job of scratching those itchy spots. Our one primarily donna who is very fussy about grooming and brushes in general, happily stands while we use this. Its earned a permanent spot in my grooming tote.
