Umbrella does the job

Just under the size of a golf umbrella, doubles well as a walking stick

Very nice looking and a good size-not too big, not too small. Good hook handle.

The umbrella opens quickly and with authority, Ive been using this every day on my walk to work in Portland, OR. Its wide and light compared to other similarly-sized umbrellas. Ive not had the wind take it inside-out yet, but the composite struts seem like they wouldnt be that affected by it. The umbrella did arrive damaged with a slightly bent tip and a hairline crack on the handle. not enough for make it worth returning but certainly disappointing.

The umbrella itself is fine. But I ordered the navy stripe and received just the navy.

Item came with two big dents where you hold the umbrella, it isnt comfortable at all.

The style, the color, and the feel of it in my hand is very nice. It keeps off the rain, and is large enough for two people, if need be. The latch is a cheap plastic piece, and will break if not handled gently. I hadnt realized what a fiberglass rib structure would look like, but Im hopeful that it will bend under stress, rather than break like a wire structure. Its taller than what I wanted for using like a cane or walking stick, but thats my fault for not measuring.

Beautiful and sturdy umbrella, but much too long for me.
