Doesn’t rust. Can be used over terrariums to contain fruit flies that are fed to reptiles. Bends nicely over the tank top and holds its shape for the most part. Tiny flies cannot escape and reptiles can still breathe. Light penetrates through at probably 75%

Well see how it holds up in filtering oil.

Im using this as a pre-filter to filter debris before hitting the HEPA filter in the Bissell Garage-Pro vacuum and it works great.

I originally purchased this to keep out bugs. My daughter dorms and has had a problem with bugs getting in through the vents and this has kept them out.

Just ordered another roll. Its a durable high quality STAINLESS STEEL mesh which I use to prevent woodpecker intrusion through EIFS stucco. (Bought 5 rolls of 80 many years ago on my wifes account) Its rustproof and can be folded and creased to form many shapes. It strengthens the EIFS helping prevent beak penetration in areas of the USA where nesting birds are a problem. BTW, those that laughably claim its not real Stainless Steel because magnets fail to stick to it are completely mistaken about their claim. Total nonsense. Austenitic 304 and 316 Stainless Steels are not magnetic whereas 430 is a Ferritic stainless steel and thus is magnetic. These screens are 304 and thus NOT MAGNETIC. Im very satisfied with this product.
