Actual size is 11 3/4 by 23 1/2. Mesh comes rolled up and does not unroll or lay flat so depending on how you plan to use it, it may not work well.

Im guessing someone at the factory said you know we can make one extra every 48 cuts with the same amount of material if we just short each customer a half inch.

I haven’t iused this wire yet but I will come spring. It is just the right size as I had hoped, to keep snakes or varments from crawling through larger wire on my house vents. I will definitely get the good from this that I have planned. It will do the trick

I use this for a screen to separate the gravel from the filter material in my water filter. The mesh is strong and just the right size opening. Being stainless steel, it should last forever

Use tin snips to cut it, used to block off water heater on RV and large hole on floor under tub.

This is by far the best/strongest 8 mesh on Amazon! I have purchased several other versions from various other sellers and nothing else comes close. Yes, it harder to cut and bend, but if you need it to be durable and strong then this is the one you want. I use it for gold mining. It is what I use for classification on my trommel and I put literally tons and tons of rock through it. I doubt that anyone abuses this material as much as I do. It stays strong, it doesn’t wear down, and it doesn’t rust. Best mesh ever!!

Horrible unable to use cut my hands all up

This is a very hard welded screen which is almost impossible to bend without tools. I was using it for a beehive entrance reducer and realized it’s wrong for that without a lot of work. That said, it’s great for someone looking for something hard that doesn’t bend as long as you don’t mind waiting for it to straighten out which seems to take forever. The thing is if someone is looking for something this sturdy, I can’t imagine They want something this small but I don’t know. Just wanted to let everyone know it’s very hard and not easy to bend. There are better options for people with bees

Ordered this to make a shell sifter for our vacation. Low and behold they came rolled up tightly rendering them useless to make my project. Will have to look elsewhere. Thinking it was going to be a quick project turned into a headache.

Heavy duty mesh. Takes some wrestling with it to make it lay flat to cut and trim after being rolled up from shipping. Wear gloves when working with it. I wish the local home depot or lowes carried this stuff.
