Perfect size and quality to make some screens to cover air ventilation. Great purchase, I will probably buy more to use in other rooms. Works great with magnetic tape to fix it.

Update (8/21/2020): Originally purchased 7/6/2019, I took one out of the package and put it on my deck, on a table under cover from rain, but exposed to humidity; everything ferrous out there rusts within weeks. Nearly 1 year later, this is very, very minor rust, so this stainless steel passes the rust test! See pic. Pros: good fit and finish. As a test, I put one of the sheets outside on the porch, in very humid weather, and after three weeks, no signs of rust, so passes the not cheap SS test. Cons: none.

While Im keeping these for a crafts project - I had to wear gloves and tape the edges shut because the wires are loose & sharp. It took me over an hour! If youre not prepared to do this - DONT GET THESE. Theyd have gotten a 5* rating if the edges were sealed!

So it all started one night with a spider we believe came out of our floor vent register. My Wife and I immediately looked for solutions. This was perfect! They came in sheet, I literally folded the sheets in half the long way and with pair of house scissors cut down the folded seam. I had to make one more cut across the top to fit the vent and voila it was ready. Depending on the type of vent register you have you my need to make a few more cuts to fit around the clips but it was pretty easy to figure out and every last vent in our house (14) were done with 3 packs with sheets to spare . My contractor saw them and thought the idea was ingenious and asked me what I did. Thanks to my Wife for finding these.

Upsized my vermicomposting worm bin & used the screening to provide air. Cut a rectangle out of the lid (I’m using a translucent plastic storage bin) a little smaller than the screen and stapled screen to the inside of the lid. Perfect.

I wouldve gave it 5 stars but it was not easy to cut at all. BUT it was the perfect size I just wish I couldve cut a hole where the open/close lever for the vent is.

These were a good product. The only issue I had was if you even slightly bent it, it would not bend back. Also, some of the metal began to come undone. It’s nearly impossible to get it back in place. The edges were also a bit sharp. So if you’re looking to just apply these immediately then they’re great. But any molding or moving of them might be difficult.

I needed to bring my vents around my house uo to present fire code as oid mesh was 1/4 and newer code is 1/8 or smaller which this mesh is. Would have been nicer if the sheets were bigger but made do.

Using this a a cathode in electro-etching cell. The electrolyte is CuSO4. The anode is brass. Voltage = 1V Current = 1A. The copper plates onto this screen. The screen it easy to cut with hardware scissors. I remove it from the cell when the current is off and rinse it off. It is low maintenance. Do not use this screen as ANODE. It will release chromium.
