This is a bit on the expensive side, but I can kind of see why- the bottom is nicely weighted and has grips to stay on the table. But my baby, who is 6 months old, can pick it up with his hands just fine. He cant quite drink from it on his own, but he can take sips with my help. He LOVES this cup! Hes excited when I bring it out and loves to drink water from it. I can definitely see him drinking from it as he gets older and gets more control over his hands. I will honestly probably buy a second or third one :) If youre interested in skipping the sippy cups altogether like me, I would recommend this product for sure!

The cup is easy to hold and perfect for little hands. It’s weighted which is helpful as well. My son is enjoying learning to drink from this cup!

I purchased the cup for my granddaughter and have actually seen her drink from the cup and she is only six months old! Very impressed with the design of this cup!!!!

It seems very apt for baby’s hands. And the bottom is weighted so it does not tip over easily. However I bought this to cup feed my 4 month old and since it is not transparent, I have no way of knowing when the milk comes to rim and how much to tilt. I end up spilling it all across my baby.

Our pediatrician recommended that we try Baby Led Weaning on top of baby food with our daughter. She skipped the sippie cup all together thanks to this cup! Be patient with your baby, it takes a while for them to learn to use the cup, but if you drink out of a cup in front of your baby, they will eventually get the hang of it!

First off, if it being “small” is making you reconsider, the cup is 2 oz, and babies 1-2 should only have 8 oz of water a day. That’s one full cup at each meal, plus a snack. It is the PERFECT size for toddlers learning how to use a cup. We had struggled with sippy cups, my little one drank out of them fine, but didn’t understand how to tilt his head back. He’s been using this cup properly since the first time we showed him, and we’ve had 0 issues. Easy to clean. Truly, the perfect cup for 1-2 year olds!

I first gave this to my daughter at 10 months. It took her a few tries to get the hang of it. Now, she is a few weeks shy of one year. At meals, I fill it up with water and hand it to her (rather than having her pick it up herself right now). She drinks from it then hands it back to me. This has worked well to minimize spills. We are only using for water because obviously there are still spills.
