05-06-2025If it is possible to weld wood, Tightbond can do it! Do not wet the work pieces as you might with other types of wood glue. This glue will get rubbery and peel off of wet/damp wood. Work only with dry wood. I us it to build large picture frames with weathered wood and I use no metal fasteners at all. Tightbond sets up very rapidly. You have 5 to 8 minutes to position and clamp. Most work can be unclamped in a couple hours.

> 3 dayProvides an almost waterproof adhesion of MDF and Plywood. Permanent bond. If you wish to separate the wood joined with this glue, forget about it. Will not separate without destroying the fibers of the material. Great Stuff!!

> 3 dayI won’t try another glue because this is a fair price and has phenomenal adhesion. I clamp for 30 minutes then come back on pattern work and there are no issues. I have glued them planed in 6 hours without failure.

Greater than one weekIts the best. Waterproof, good working time and is the right color so that it is hard to see when it dries. The bond will be stronger than the wood it is attached to. I use it constantly with woodworking projects, hence why I buy it by the gallon. What some people dont know is that you should just mix wood glue and sawdust from the wood you are working with together to make putty if you need it. This glue works great for that as well. As with all wood glues, dont let it freeze.

> 3 dayThis glue really is stronger than wood. I use Titebond III for making cutting boards. Does a phenomenal job. Im able to unclamp my boards with anywhere from 6 to 10 pieces within three hours and then begin the finishing work the next day.

> 3 dayDoes exactly what its supposed to do. Drying time is longer than elmers and TB2, which is good for setting my work up.

> 3 dayThe best wood glue, bar none. HOWEVER, it has a short open time, so if you have an indoor project with a complex glue-up, Titebond II is the glue to use.

> 3 dayHad to build an exterior door for a customer. Was worried about the waterproof qualities so I made up a sample with red oak and left it outside in the rain and sun for 2 weeks. No problem. Decided to leave it out all winter just to see and it is still solid after almost a year outside. The wood will rot before the glue fails. Amazing.

> 3 dayExcellent glue, arrived in great shape. Keep in mind that it can take a while to dry if you have a thick glue film. Bought this for a school bridge competition with Popsicle sticks. We didnt allow enough time for it to dry so it was basically an elastic bridge, deflecting as much as six inches in 3 feet before breaking. Overall, a great product. No issues.
